T Level growth is creating demand for digital placement-matching platforms
Enrolment rose 7.6 per cent this year to 27,446 students. Getting every one of them a 45-day industry placement is proving more difficult than the policy designers anticipated.

Twenty-seven thousand four hundred and forty-six students started T Levels in the 2025 to 2026 academic year, up from 25,508 the previous year, according to DfE T Level statistics. The 7.6 per cent increase represents continued growth for a qualification that began with a handful of pathways and now spans 21 in 10 routes, delivered by 325 providers across England.
